The course “Modern Knee Joint Arthroplasty” – training at the Medical Education Center in Warsaw

Dear Patients,

On February 24, 2026, I had the pleasure of co-leading a specialist course for physicians titled “Modern Knee Joint Arthroplasty,” which took place at the Medical Education Center in Warsaw.

The training was organized by the Department of Minimally Invasive Orthopedics and Rehabilitation of the Medical University of Warsaw and the Mazovian Bródnowski Hospital, and I led it together with my supervisor, Prof. Paweł Skowronek.

The course consisted of practical workshops on preserved specimens, allowing participants to refine surgical techniques in conditions similar to real surgical procedures. This type of training is extremely important in the process of continuously improving surgical skills and introducing modern treatment methods into everyday orthopedic practice.

During the course, we discussed, among other topics:

  • modern techniques of knee joint arthroplasty

  • minimally invasive surgical approaches

  • surgical planning and implant selection

  • practical aspects of performing surgery

The opportunity to share experience with other physicians and engage in discussion about the latest solutions in orthopedics is an extremely important element in the development of the entire field.

Such meetings allow not only the sharing of knowledge but also the joint development of modern standards for treating patients with knee joint conditions.

With regards,

Dr Paweł Olszewski
